About two weeks ago, we started with rice cereal and I thought it would never go over. Each time we tried to give her the cereal, she would cry and arch her back and basically throw a fit. Well, just this past Wednesday evening, we saw a huge improvement. She is eating pretty well and actually finished off a bowl of rice cereal the other day! Now - get this - today she tried her first vegetable - AVOCADO!!! She wasn't sure what to think of it and actually gave a couple shivers like anyone would do if they thought of something gross. It was hilarious! She's probably going to grown up with a complex, too, because every time she finishes a spoonful, we clap for her and say, "Yah, Liv!"
I think the most wonderful thing that's happened, though, is Liv discovered a new sound she can make. She discovered the "da" noise and says it nonstop. Of course Duane thinks she's saying "Dada" and while it sounds exactly like that, she doesn't know what she's saying yet. Regardless, it melts our heart everytime the sound comes out of her mouth!
