Hello again after a long break in posts! The last week of June was busy with trying to get Olivia healthy - she had another double ear infection. She was running a fever with that so she had to stay home from daycare - it may have been a good thing, though, because that week, hand/foot & mouth broke out among the infants! Thursday night, June 30, the three of us headed out for Ferdinand. Duane did all the driving and 12 hours later we rolled into my mom and dad's driveway. While Duane napped, Olivia, me and my parents headed to Patoka Lake for an afternoon in the sun. This was Liv's first time boating and she did so well! We even had her in the water in a float with a "blue yummy!" (Busch Light for non-Dubois county people)
Friday night was dinner at the Meyer's and Olivia got to see her Grandma and Grandpa Meyer, Aunt Andrea and her little cousin Jack. She didn't last too long, though, after her afternoon on the lake.
Saturday morning we all took Potter family pictures at the Ferdinand State Forest. Stay tuned for those! After pictures were taken, Olivia met her Great-Grandma Potter - she thought Olivia was cute and kept saying so! I'm glad she was able to see Liv again! Saturday on the lake was a different story for Liv - she didn't seem to enjoy herself too much. While my parents stayed on the lake for the fireworks, the three of us headed back and had a relaxing evening at home. We were all in bed before fireworks had even started!
Sunday it was back to Patoka. A storm rolled through so we spent most of the day hanging around the marina but it worked out just fine. We did get out on the lake later and Olivia enjoyed that.

Monday we headed to Granola Town (Bloomington) to see Alex and Giesla's new house - it's so nice!!! We had lunch and just hung out. Liv showed off her new trick - crawling! Before we headed out for St. Paul, Alex lit fireworks so Olivia wouldn't miss any on her first 4th of July. It was such a great trip home!
