I returned Sunday evening and then by Tuesday afternoon, I was flying to Charlotte, NC, for work. I was only gone a couple nights but I was glad when the trip was over. Olivia does okay with me traveling but after a few nights of me being gone, she starts to melt down quicker than usual. January and February are going to bring weekly trips for me so I hope she can keep it together for Duane!
We tried taking Liv to see Santa but it didn't work out as well as we had hoped. I had heard about a little play put on by Bachmann's (a local greenhouse) and then there are free photo ops with Santa after the show. Thankfully, we arrived early enough to get a seat for me and Liv but Duane had to stand. Liv was not interested in the play and we were not interested in the long line to see Santa. So, we left without Olivia getting to sit on Santa's lap. I wasn't too disappointed, though, as I'm sure she would have scowled at him.

The week before we headed back to Ferdinand was crazy at work so it was nice to see the weekend arrive! Before we left town, a package arrived from Germany! Olivia couldn't open it without wearing her cheetah glasses....also, we had the candy consumed before the day was over!
