Hello again! I have to apologize now because this will probably be a short post...I caught a cold from a certain someone (I won't name names but she's not yet 2 years old and lives in this house...) and I am not feeling the best. I hope to be in bed super early tonight. With that being said - we still had a great weekend.
Friday night we hung out at home and Duane tried to unwind from a crazy work week. He was still working, but smoking a stogie on the patio, until about 10pm. He woke up early on Saturday to smoke a Boston butt and I was treated to a day to myself and went to the Mall of America. I can't say I love that mall very much but it was nice to shop alone and take my time meandering through the stores. Duane and Liv did random things around the house and ran some errands. They went to a ghetto grocery store but someone loved it!
Liv woke up shortly after I got back home so we played outside while Duane finished his pork butt. Our friends Jaron and Crystal came over for dinner and a mini-bonfire. Liv was happy with that because she LOVES Jaron - I mean she stares at him from the minute he arrives until they leave. When I laid her down last night and as I was rubbing her back, she asked in a super-sleepy voice, "daddy?" I told her he was going night-night; then she said, "Jaron?" I said the same thing about him but she asked 2 more times about him and then finally said, "Jaron nigh-nigh." Seriously - might be her first crush.

This morning when I woke up - I had a sore throat and stuffy nose. Fun. We ran to Target, had lunch at home and then Liv went down for a lovely 3-hour nap. Duane mowed and I laid in the sun. Once Olivia woke up, she had a snack and then we took a bike ride.

Well, it's a little after 8pm and I'm going to get myself ready for bed! Have a fantastic week!
