Olivia's 6 month check up

Yesterday Olivia had her 6-month check up - she is 16lbs 6oz and 26"! I could have sworn she weighed more than that but I was proven wrong. Every time I carry her in her car seat, I think, "I'm not sure how much longer I can do this...." Duane came along for this appointment so he got to see the torture of the shots - she had one oral dose and 3 shots. She was practically asleep by the time we carried her out of the office, though. That wasn't the end of her day, though....later that afternoon we got her ears pierced!!! We weren't able to get any pictures last night becasue she wasn't a happy baby - with the shots and new holes in her ears, she was pretty fussy.

Since she's 6 months old, we'll start introducing foods this weekend! Tonight we will try rice cereal and stick with that for a couple weeks, then it's veggies. Stay tuned for photos and more updates!
