On Friday night, we started rice cereal with Olivia! I am going to be totally honest and admit that it wasn't as fun as I thought it was going to be so hopefully it's different with veggies. I first tried a plastic, easily wipable bib and Liv thought that was her meal - she was focusing all her energy on chewing on that instead of trying the cereal. So, we put a different bib on and tried again. She gave us about 4 good minutes of taking the spoon in her mouth and spitting out the cereal and then she sort of threw a fit. (I think she was still cranky from her shots.) She did start out in style with her Tiffany spoon - it's never to early for that little blue box! Thanks again, Mara!
Saturday morning Liv hung out in the big chair. Check out those earrings!
While I cleaned the house and did laundry, Olivia and Duane ran some errands. They were supposed to pick up diapers at Babies R Us but Duane couldn't help himself and bought Liv a little "Olivia" doll. He's so wrapped around her little pinky!
Olivia has also started to notice Sadie a lot more as she walks around the house. Any time Sadie is near Liv, she gets really excited and smiles and kicks her feet. Here Sadie is keeping her distance, while trying to entertain Liv.
