....and then Papa and Grandma Potter came to visit!

This past weekend was another chance for Olivia to show off for her grandparents! On Friday afternoon, my parents flew into MSP. I picked them up at the airport and we made our way to the Mall of America for lunch and to walk around until Olivia woke up from her nap at school. I had hoped Liv would get a good nap so we could do something fun on Friday evening but she was fighting a cold and cough and only slept for 50 minutes. So, we picked her up from school, ran to Target for medicine and headed home. We ordered pizza and stayed cozy indoors.

On Saturday morning, Duane and my dad went to Wisconsin and had a man-fternoon with Jaron shooting clay pigeons or targets or whatever it was they did. My mom, Olivia and I ran to Target and had lunch at home. As soon as the boys returned, we were out the door and headed to the mall! My mom had a lot of luck and did some damage while shopping. We went out to dinner and then headed to the Children's Museum again so my parents could enjoy it with Olivia.

Sunday was our day to stay inside and stay warm and dry. It started snowing around noon and stopped early evening - I think we had about 4". It was a tough day, though, as Olivia was in her Lucifer mood....we are pretty embarrassed at the way she behaved when my parents were here. Olivia avoided her nap but held it together pretty well the rest of the day. She was lucky enough to build her first snowman with Duane and my mom and dad.

I worked from home on Monday and took my parents to the airport. We had a great visit with them but we wish Olivia could have shown them her adorable, innocent self - not her 2 1/2 year old Lucy-self....

Now we're just hoping the rest of the winter hurries through because we're out of visitors and things to do indoors.... Come on spring!!!
