This past weekend brought a visit from Duane's parents! Duane took Friday off of work and I worked from home. Duane smoked a pork butt and tried numerous times to wash our vehicles at his favorite car wash. Each time he went, he was told it was too cold to open the car wash! No joke - it has to be above 0* - and it wasn't!!! Once Duane's parents arrived in St. Paul, he took them to see his office and pick up Olivia from school. We had dinner at our house and stayed indoors.

Duane and his parents ran errands on Saturday morning while Olivia and I went to a birthday party for one of her friends. The party was held at a bounce house place and it was awesome! This place is set up well - each kid's party has about 30 minutes in each section of the place and then pizza and cake is done after the fun. Since I was by myself - and having to embarrass myself by jumping around with Liv - I didn't get any pictures. She had a great time, though, and conked out in the car on the way home. I knew she wouldn't go back to sleep if I transferred her from the car to bed, so I drove around for a little over an hour so she could get some sleep. We went to dinner at Cossetta's and found ourselves in the middle of a busy place. We stood in line for 20 minutes but I think it was worth it - the food is always excellent! We went home shortly after eating and Olivia played with the glow sticks out of her swag bag from the party.

Sunday morning we braved the Children's Museum and Olivia had a great time! I think she could have played with the water/bubbles all day. When it started to get busy, we knew we needed to leave and someone was
not happy about that decision. Little Lucy came out and let us know how she felt! (We're going to start calling Liv 'Little Lucy' because she's like a little Lucifer when the mood strikes her!)

We had a small Super Bowl get-together with Duane's parents and Jaron and Crystal. Olivia was enamored by Jaron and made sure to be near him most of the night. She received a pink Packers jersey from Jaron & Crystal, too, which she LOVED! She also ate her first hot dog and loved that more than anything, I think. No, I take that back, not more than Jaron.
Gary and Kathy were out the door before Olivia woke up but she was looking for them and asking about them on Monday when she woke up. As if that wasn't enough fun, Grandma & Papa Potter arrive on Friday afternoon!!!
