The snow came last week and guess what? It's still around! Ugh...seriously, I'm not sure how much I can handle this weather. It's been 6 months of winter and when you realize we've spent half of our year dealing with cold weather, it's a little depressing. Good thing we live with a smiley, happy little girl! We stayed in on Friday and had leftovers and just relaxed.
Saturday morning Duane went into work again so Olivia and I hung out at home. She had me up at 6:15am but I was able to get a lot done before lunch. We ran to Target before lunch and it was great to have that chore out of the way. While Olivia napped, I had an afternoon at the mall and ran some more errands. We were getting ready to go out for dinner when Crystal called Duane - she was stuck at the airport with a dead battery in her truck. So, Duane saved the day and got her truck running again. She joined us for dinner and we had a great time! Even though we sat down to eat after 7pm, Liv was a great little diner. A lady even stopped by our table to tell us what a well behaved child we had....that was so nice to hear! Olivia had scrambled eggs for dinner and a piece of toast - then she and I shared a chocolate mousse. I think she liked it.
Sunday it was cold and rainy/snowy so we took it easy. Being my mother's daughter, I had more returns to make so we went to the MOA. Olivia actually fell asleep on the way so while she napped in the car, I ran my errands inside. Once she woke up, we had lunch in the mall and then went to a couple more stores. Duane and Liv dropped me off at home and then they continued on shopping.
I have a crazy busy week so it's a good thing this post is short....I need to get moving! We hope everyone has a great week!
