Friday was an easy day and we just did random things around my parents' house. We walked over to the bank and visited my Dad, walked to the library and then walked "downtown" for lunch. While Liv napped, Duane helped Brent and Amanda set up for their wedding and I sat in the sun! Olivia spent the evening with Alex and my parents while Duane and I went to rehearsal. Olivia went out to the Forest and ran wild on the playground - I think everyone had their fill of slides and swings that evening!
Saturday Duane was with the wedding party so Liv and I hung out with my family. We took a couple walks that morning, had lunch and then Liv went down for her nap. My brother, GG and I went to the wedding mass and by the time we returned home, Liv was waking up and ready to party! The weather was absolutely beautiful so we were all looking forward to the reception out at the Ferdinand State Forest. Liv absolutely loved the dance floor and probably could have stayed out there all night!

Sunday morning my parents hosted a little birthday party for Olivia! The weather did not cooper
ate so we stayed indoors and had lunch, cake and then watched the lucky little girl open all her gifts. Aunt GG made an amazing cake and it was SO good! Olivia received so many great presents from her grandparents, Alex and GG, "mommy's grandpa" and Andrea, Ryan and Jack.
After a nice nap, it was time to meet Duane's parents and sister and her family for dinner. We had a nice meal together and then it was time to go our separate ways. Andrea and her family are coming up for a visit in a couple weeks so we'll get to see them soon! I'm already trying to brainstorm our itinerary....
Our flight home was uneventful and before we knew it, we were back at home. We have a really busy month ahead of us so bear with me and my updates - they might be late! Happy October everyone!
