The title of this post is in all-caps because we did every fall activity imaginable this weekend! Friday night we had another bonfire and made s'mores over the fire. Then, Duane and Olivia went "camping." Duane had the great idea to set up the tent in the woods of our backyard and he and Liv would stay out there over night. (I was completely fine with sleeping in the house by myself.) Unfortunately, Liv started a cold/cough late in the week and by Friday night, she was coughing every 2 minutes and not allowing Duane to get any sleep. Then, lightening and thunder started up so he brought her back inside; this was around 10:30pm. Liv wasn't very happy about being brought in but it started to pour down rain so Duane was definitely happy. The two of them still had a fun time! (Please note: Friday was wear-pink-day at school so I dressed Liv in as much pink as I could!)

Saturday was the Boston Scientific Fall Fest at Sever's in Shakopee. The sky looked nice and blue when we left our house but by the time we arrived, it was beyond windy and cloudy as can be. Thankfully, we all had jackets but we all could have used hats and gloves, too. Gotta love MN! It was a great place to visit and shortly after we arrived, Olivia ran into her friend, Dominic. We all joked that we could leave the two of them together and the parents could go off and do our own thing - they were having so much fun together. This place had everything - bouncey things, playground, corn "bath", giant slide, petting zoo, corn maze, pony/camel rides and more that I'm forgetting.

there was a child's size hay bale maze and Olivia and Dominic did not stop laughing the whole time they ran through it - it was so cute! |

yep....we were those parents that paid for a sad, little pony ride. liv loved it but seeing those ponies was sad. |
We didn't stay too long because Duane and I were cold and hungry - pathetic, I know. We had lunch at Panera and then shortly after we left, Liv was asleep. Since we were out and about, we ran some errands. Duane even got a little nap in (Mark Potter style) when I ran into a mall to make a return (Margaret Potter style). Once Liv woke up, we rushed home to give her a bath, change and then we were off to a birthday party. This party was held in a kid's gymnastics place and it was so much fun. There was pizza and cupcakes at the end and no joke - as everyone else was walking out the door, Liv was still slowly eating her pizza....

When we woke up this morning, I realized that we needed to get to a pumpkin patch or we'd miss out, as our upcoming weekends are packed. We quickly found a place closer to our new house and headed out. Arriving shortly after they opened was great - we had the entire pumpkin patch to ourselves for quite some time. Olivia had her face painted before we headed out and she was very proud of it.

Tomorrow (Monday) I'll be at home with Liv - the school is always closed on Columbus Day for a teacher's workshop. We have a big weekend coming up but Liv doesn't know yet....Andrea, Ryan and Jack are coming to visit! Have a fantastic week!
