Thanksgiving in Ferdinand

Well, we are back in MN already after the Thanksgiving holiday - what a great first holiday for Olivia! She did so well on the flight from MSP to SDF - she was awake the entire flight and spent it looking around the plane. Duane also kept her mesmorized for a whole 25 minutes with his hand, waving around his fingers. We also heard lots of people commenting on how cute she is, but we already knew that! Of course, I had her decked out in a bow and her purple boots.

Thanksgiving Day we had lunch at my mom and dad's house and she met her Great Aunt Jan and Great-Fav Uncle Kenny. She also met her Great-Grandpa Kraus. Later that evening, we went to the Meyer's Thanksgiving get-together and she met lots of Meyers.

Black Friday was spent in Louisville and Liv really loved it! She did really well and was a trooper as my mom and I shopped for about 5 hours. We spent our day in one mall and only bought gifts for one person - Olivia! Haha...it was still a great day! Later that evening, Olivia met the Potter family. My mom held an open house so they could meet her. I'm pretty sure her favorite person was little Kate Pund. She smiled nonstop when Kate held her.

Saturday was a sad day as we left Ferdinand. Olivia only woke up long enough to nurse as we took off from SDF but then quickly fell back asleep. We hope she always does that well when flying!

The next two weeks will be pretty quiet for us and then I start back at work on Thursday, December 9. I will be working from home, though, until the new year, which will be really nice. We head back to Ferdinand soon, though, for the Christmas holiday!
