Fun Saturday

Even though the weather was really bad here today, we still managed to have a lot of fun. Duane had to run into work this morning but Liv and I had breakfast and played until he got back home. We were soon off to Target for our weekly grocery trip. Once we got back home and had lunch, Duane and Liv napped while I caught up on some laundry.

Since we couldn't do anything outside, I decided to make some chocolate chip cookies. Olivia was really into it and liked standing next to me and "helping."

After we were finished with the cookies, we started on dinner - homemade pizza! Just like she usually does, Olivia had as much as I did for dinner, plus some peas. Since she ate so well, she got to have a little treat - a little scoop of ice cream and part of a cookie. She seemed more into the ice cream and actually left part of her cookie on her tray and said, "all done."

Duane had lots of dishes to do tonight so we got Liv involved and she LOVED it! She was playing in the water (on the rinsing side of the sink) and filling up cups and drinking out of them.

We Skyped with my parents and Liv put on quite a show for them. Thankfully she calms down really easily and can transition to bed pretty quickly. (don't judge but maybe the pacifier helps, too!)
