Parent-Teacher Conference

It's my favorite time of year - parent-teacher conferences at daycare!!! I just love hearing about Olivia and how she's doing. I must say, when we walked out of there, we were both feeling pretty good about ourselves and how we're doing as parents. Olivia is doing great and her teachers just love her - but who doesn't?! ;) Here are some of the things off of her 'report card:'

• she likes to do things herself and is successful at it. If she doesn't get it right the first, she'll keep trying and if she gets frustrated, she will ask for help.
• she is becoming conversational and not just answering with one-word answers.
• she has friends at school and can recognize differences in her classmates, i.e. hair color, clothes, etc.
• she helps "guide" her friends around the classroom....she's not bossy but will help others when they are not following along. Ms. Heather calls her the "little teacher!"
• we know this but Ms. Heather reiterated that Liv loves books and art.
