Visits with friends

Our weekend was all about visiting our friends! On Friday we had a quick dinner out and headed home. The weather has turned quite cold and all we wanted to do was hurry home and bundle up!

Saturday morning Olivia kind of slept in - she woke up at 7:30am! It was so great! We planned out our meals for the week and made our grocery list and we were at Target by 9:30am. Lunch was a smorgasbord of leftovers and then Liv goofed around with Duane.

when Duane asked if he could get a kiss and Liv said no, he'd tickle her. it took about 4 tickles before she'd give a kiss.

 After Olivia woke up from her nap, we headed to Hudson, WI, for Jaron & Crystal's Oktoberfest. Olivia just loves Jaron & Crystal and their dogs so she enjoyed herself. It was pretty cold and gloomy so we all had to bundle up. Olivia wore her new coat and looked adorable!



Olivia LOVES Jaron & Crystal's dogs and we had to visit with them a couple times. The black dog is Zurich and Liv really enjoyed petting him.

 Today we visited the Bodkin's and met baby Lily! She is so cute and such a tiny baby! You really do forget how tiny newborns are but there is nothing sweeter - or better smelling! I had to keep smelling her head; I love the baby smell. Olivia was very interested in Lily and even kissed her on the head. After our visit we went out for lunch and Liv took a quick nap at home. Tonight during dinner I spelled out Liv's name with my arms and she thought it was hilarious!

Tomorrow is Columbus Day and our daycare center is closed. So, we get to spend an extra day with Olivia! I will be with Liv in the morning and then Duane will get the afternoon shift. I hope you all have a great week!
