Last week Duane was at Rose-Hulman recruiting nerds for Boston Scientific so it was a girls week. Olivia and I had a good week but by Thursday night, we were in need of a break from each other. I had to wake Liv at 6am on Thursday to get into work so by 6pm that night, she was pretty much ready for bed. I had her in bed at 7:30pm and was quickly on the couch with some hot chocolate! On Friday evening, Duane and Olivia met me at Rosedale Mall for dinner and then I had some much needed 'me' time after dinner in the mall!
Saturday morning we hung around at home but had a fun night planned - the Bowe's came over for dinner. Olivia had a great time playing with Evelyn and Vivian and before we knew it, it was well past 8pm and the girls were all slowly winding down and ready for bed.
Sunday morning we headed to the MN Zoo. As usual, it was fairly quiet first thing on Sunday morning. Olivia had a great time and crashed for her nap when we got back home.
While Olivia napped, Duane ran errands and I stayed warm and safe in the house. It snowed about 4" in the afternoon so of course we went sledding before dinner!

I made a really good (and easy) dessert for our dinner on Saturday and thankfully had leftovers. Olivia LOVED it and licked her plate clean! I don't blame her - I think Nutella may be one of the greatest things created by man.
